i would like to know which flashlight acomodates the most batteries?

The SF Beast holds 20 CR123s, the M6 six. There are several different brands of AA lights that hold eight batteries in a compact fashion. Different Pelican dive lights hold 6 to 8 C and D batteries side by side. As far as inline lights, Cold Steel made a 7-cell AA model, and Kel-Lite made a 5-cell C that could hold up to 12. Several brands including Nordic and Code-4 could be threaded together to make any length you'd like, but that's not an official single light.
