Will Aurora AK-P7 run off 13.2v nimh ??

Always looking to upgrade my bike lights and having got a bit of the diy bug I have found a DX P7 that appears to run up to 17v. This is the one http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.23998

My question is: will it run from my current 13.2v, 4.5mah nimh battery with just a bit of nifty soldering?

Do you mean 4.5Ah or 4500 mAh?

I don't have any experience with this light, but if the specs are as claimed, it certainly should work.
