if they do, how will we tell the difference?

Most manufacturers are very slow to change since it costs money to change stock, possibly supplier, with only a small expectation of profit gain if they can't get the point through to customers to buy a new light just because there's a new LED. And they often fail at doing so, hence why general consumer lights take forever to hop to the next LED. Regarding the potential customers on CPF... you have to keep in mind that the number of registered users here is inadequate for minimum profitability quotas of certain companies especially in a global market basis. Unlike the oddball micromanaging businesses that focuses on small batch production [McGizmo, TnC, Fenix] who phases out old products as new technology rolls in, there's going to be very few companies out there that will create a new light or modify an existing light on the assembly line just because there's organizations [like CPF] that demands it

When will the xp-g get neutral-white bins?
The xp-g would provide a nice upgrade path for the '100' series, as they currently use the xp-e.
The T100C2 could be overdriven to 1.2 amps
P100C2 to 1 amp
P100A2 to 800milliamps.

Will Cree make something with an even larger die, say 3 square mm, and use that in the xr package?
If not 3, then 2, is there an xr-G?
What is the xr-P?
