Will Trustfire 16340s fit in the Quark mini123?

Trustfire 16340's come in at least two lengths. I have 4, two short and two long. The short ones fit the MiNi 123 perfectly. The shorter ones that I own have their positive end almost completely covered by the gray wrapper.

i would say yes, i have ordered quite a few trustfire protected 16340s and found that there are differences in length, visually they all look alike, same grey wrapping

The protected Solarforce 16340s I received the other day are the same length as Duracell CR123s.

They appear to be 36 mm. One thing I know.. they don't fit my P1D. The primary pictured are just under 33 mm.

I´ve been using AW`s LiFePO4 batteries in both my 123 MiNis (Al and Ti). They work just fine and no real overheating problems on high.

I've just got my quark 123mini and both my protected and unprotected trustfires fit well.
To answer psychbeat's question: I've not done a full discharge test yet, but I've run my quark with these batteries for 5+ consecutive minutes. Problem is that, at that point, mine becomes extremely hot, eventually difficult to hold. No problems on medium or low.

thanks norm, i'm currently using unprotected soshine 16340s for my EX10 as those are the only ones that fit. none of my trustfires can fit the EX10.

Ive not gone over 4 or 5 min yet with RCRs on high as it does
start to get warmish
Ive got two grey Ultra Fire protected 16340s and both fit
