Windmill lighters while travelling

hello all
does anyone know if windmill lighters are prohibited on airplanes
i've checked tsa and they said some lighters are allowed but not
"lighters with unabsorbed liquid fuels are not allowed" - whatever that means

Prohibited. A pressurized butane lighter is forbidden in both carry-on and checked baggage.

And a recent change is that now a regular Bic lighter is also prohibited in carry-on. Only matches are now allowed in the cabin.

Zippos would typically have "absorbed" liquid fuels. I wonder if those would be OK?

well that really sucks!
you pay for a really good lighter and you can't travel with it
there goes the true notion of a "bail out bag"
