Hi everyone,

I have decided what I want my company name to be and I need to get it trademarked so I can put it in use. I have seen the videos, and read what I can online. I have also done a search using the online tool. From what I gather even if you make a mistake on the app process there is no refund on it.

If anyone here has ever actually done this I could sure use your help.

Please do not take offense at this.

You are about to start a business. It's time to get professional help instead of amateur advise. Along with a trademark you will need a business license (in most areas) and a tax ID.

If you can not handle government forms, then it would be a good idea to hire or partner with someone who can take care of those details. Taxes, budgets, permits and records are all part of business life.

No offense taken. I did contact a trademarking attorney. I guess I was still hoping that I could still save a few hundred dollars ( at this point every bit counts).

I think in this case you are correct though.
