I searched and couldn't find an answer to this- I've seen where Bernhard has stated that there are problems with using the McE2S with the Wiz2 drivers (flicker) and that it's not recommended. I notice that the Shoppe is selling TK Alephs with the 1.5X123 bodies using the Wiz2 and with a McE2S switch. Has the conflict between the Wiz2 and 2 stage switches been solved, or is it just not that big of a problem?

Depending on the bias and battery configuration, you will get varying degrees of success running the Wiz2 in low mode. When running on a 1X123 or li-ion, I've found 7 ohms of resistance to work well. You really have to feel it out, because no two lights are exactly alike, due mostly to variances in luxeons.

Also note that if it becomes too much of an issue, you can always convert the McE2S into a single-stage cap by disassembling it and putting it back together with the resistor board and inner spring reversed.

Thanks for the explanation. I guess lower resistance is best then with these. 10 ohm with a Pila 150S should work out OK then.
