Sure, but you'll need more space and heat might be a problem. You might want to change the battery also since it's a SLA.

Are you saying the ballast in the POB is smaller than a after market ballast like an AGT?

I;m not sure. you should ask those with POBs to answer you. But the battery must go IMO. Are you going to mod the POB?

I was thinking about putting the 55watt ballast in it and increase its power output?
What kind of battery would you suggest?
 
the stock SLA will work fine but the run time will be less than before. The slim 55w ballast fit with ease and no I would not worry too much about the heat. I have the large 55w one from DDMtuning and I hope to mod it to 80w with morepower's help.

You can always run it with the bulb housing off and see how hot it gets if you dont feel good about it. Thats what I did.

ETA: ballast probably will not be plug in play but it will be easy to hook up.
