1 DB917 and 1 NG750 Aleph Seoul LE arrived today.

Straight away I popped the DB917 into my 2-cell A1 light, and
the NG750 into my 1-cell A1 light.

They both screwed all the way up and worked immediately,
perfectly focussed to my eyes, with the same type of beam
as before except MUCH brighter.

I was expecting tint issues given all the dubious press that they have
received by some, but both of these were exactly the same tint as
each other, and that is no tint at all. PERFECT white, the whitest
that I have seen and uniform all around the beam.

The NG750-S A1 is now brighter than the shop's A19-XRE which was
the brightest single led light I had up to now.

The DB917-S A1 is even brighter but not by much.

The NG750-S A1 is now an amazing pocket rocket, much brighter than
my Surefire L4 and throws much farther.

Let me also say that the spill in these lights is also great.

I am one satisfied customer.

Got my NG750 Seoul P4 U-bin today.....popped it into a A3 head....
Dang! This thing is bright and works very, very well with the McR-38 with no modification. Plug-and-play.

Much brighter than my UW0J @ 1000mA with the same A3 head.

Tint is X0 (Luxeon equivalent) with a little bit of W0. Very, very nice and white.

Beam is smooooth as butter. Definately a winner! I only bought one as a test....now I am going to buy one more and will wait and see if there will be a NG1000 and NG500 version. Now to say goodbye to my Luxeon sandwiches......:)

EDIT: another good thing about these NG sammies is that my two-stage McE2S 30 ohm switch works great!
