I thought about waiting for the Tri-V2 to appear, perhaps I'll do that.

Dave's work is always amazing though and thus the Tri-V2 will be superior to the actual (first) Tri-V, I'm sure that I'd like it. There's even a chance that I'd preffer it as I guess the MC-E produces more flood.

Anyway, if I could get a Tri-V, I'd be happy. As for the price, I'm looking for a perfect light, the usual titanium scratches are not a problem, but it has to be a little cheaper than what a Tri-V2 will cost (which is the same amount as the Tri-V cost).

If you have a light to offer, please PM me!

Thanks for reading,

Thierry

Keep in mind that most Tri-Vs are going to be in very good to mint condition and a price point less that $2K will be hard to find.

Regradless I wish you luck in your search. The Tri-V is an awesome light and one that many people will have a hard time parting with.

It took me a very long time to make my mind up to get the holy grail. Now, that I decided to get one, I must have it at once, that's the way I am, but more new ones from the maker are coming only in a few weeks (and he keeps telling us that for months now)...

So, I guess we can consider my WTB thread as the confirmation that I'll have to wait another few weeks. I fully understand that current owners either won't part with their precious at all or need to get what they invested in it to let it go.
