what is the difference between new and old version of the switch?

The old mags are thicker so you will need a thicker switch to fit.

The "new" mags are thinner and are recognised with a "D" in front of the serialnumber.

I think the "new" mags are on sale sindce early 90's.

I'm not a supplier of mag stuff, It just happen that I got some switch the OP need when I modded some maglite earlier this year.

Only interested if you happen to have the old D switch with heatsync to get rid of the ROP-Hi heat!

Further i was just interested in suppliers from europe.......

Here in the UK there are several e-tailers who sell Mag spares
Just use Google to find them .... thats what I did
