Datiled was the guy who boosted the current in one of my McGizmos for a reasonable price. He did a great job. Pop him a PM. He may also be able to do the LED mod.

Depending on what you are looking for I could help you out with the LED mod part, but I'm not bold enough to touch the SMT drivers components.
