Sold/Expired WTB: small D-Maglite extension

I was just building a Mag440 out of a 3D Maglite with 3x KD 32650 protected, when I encountered a small problem:

I knew they're longer than normal D-cells but not this much. I can't even screw the tailcape on the Maglite anymore. So I need something like a extension. So my question is does anybody have a small D-Maglite extension which adds about 15mm to my Maglite? Or does anybody have another solution?

I also need M*g "D" Extension tubes.
It would offer "fivemaga" http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=206419
but currently, small size (34mm) is not available :-(
