Not much activity on this thread lately. Has everyone moved on to another vn light? I was thinking about this one but now worried it might be obsolete or something.

If you're looking at wanting to get the K40Mvn over on the flashlight deals of the day thread Vinh has 2 irregular print lights he's selling for $125.
It's a way good deal.

I certainly don't think it's obsolete. But it seems that many people are now torn between the SR52vn and K40vn.

The K40Mvn, and the K40vn are two very different lights.

Most likely the reason there isn't much talk about this light anymore, is the market is somewhat saturated with it, and it's also a very well known quantity in every regard, from being reviewed and written about by so many people.

I have two k40vn and an SR52vn. I love the k40vn. Its a little larger but pound for pound this light still has to be up near top spot. Its not too big, its very powerful for its size and its affordable. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.
