Sorry for the ignorance...what is the output on the XPG3 6500k? How does it compare to XPL HI V3 6500K 1200 Lumen?
thanks

I'll bet the XPG3 pushes more lumens due to it's low forward voltage allowing it to be driven harder. I'm wrong a lot though.

Every now and then I get an email asking why is the ToolVN so expensive yet so popular...I guess because its labor intensive and very bright for the size? Its arguably the most impressive WOW light I make simply due to the size/portability.
Other than the shell almost everything is new..
LED sits on copper
Upgraded teflon wires
Full user programmable DriverVN2 in such a small light
Extra Copper HS
Reflector has to be modded to accommodate and focus a variety of LEDs. (I do personally prefer XPL V6 HD 7000K & Nichia 219//319AT 5000K)
Insulator between LED and reflector has to trim an fitted. Plays a role in beam tuning.
Once everything is fitted everything has to be glued for reliability
Working with small parts also takes extra concentration and handling
Everything might sound straight forward but it actually took me a really long time to finally master all of the tricks to get one of these light right
So yeah If I can sell these for much cheaper I would...
Larger lights typically are easier to build and has greater margin
Notice there are rarely deep discounts on these ToolVNs or any smaller AAA size lights
Anyhow, here are a few with slightly better deals LOL

$135 Free 2 IMR10440 + MPS1 Charger
1) ToolVN Copper Nichia 219c 90+ HCRI
2) ToolVn Copper XPL V6 HD 7000K
3) ToolVn Copper XPL V6 HD 7000K

$110 Free 2 IMR10440 + MPS1 Charger + Short twisty tail cap
A) ToolVN Al XPL2 4000K
