This is basically a catch and release. I bought the 4300K FF5 a few weeks ago and ever since i got it i really wanted to see it with the 6000K version. So i bought that one about 11 days ago and got it this past Thursday. Over all I definitely prefer the warmer tint on the 4300K. I can see the appeal of the 6000K tint but i am not a huge fan personally. The focus is not quite as perfect as my 4300K with the side switch facing toward the sky but if its facing the ground the hotspot becomes as perfect as it can get and the hotspot becomes slightly more intense. My 4300K has the opposite effect with the side switch facing the sky the hot spot is perfect but if i face it toward the ground the hotspot is just off from perfect. I think it has to do with the arc in the bulb. It seams to shift a bit if you rotate the light when its on. All my hid lights do this actually. some more then others. One thing I did was replace two damaged orings and regressed the orings with better synthetic grease. The threads are butter smooth now. After trying to get the best throw reading I was eventually able to get 975KCD of throw. I usually measure ever so slightly low so i think this sample is right on Spec. The 4300K sample i have measures at 1.2 million. To my eyes if i am really looking for it i can see it has a slightly farther punch. but if your just comparing them next to each other outside the biggest difference is going to be the tint. 200KCD sounds like a big difference but with lights with this high of lux it takes about 200Kcd to even start to noticing the difference. I did a ceiling bounce test and this 6000K sample actually read about 4% brighter then the 4300K sample(Take this with a grain of salt as the tint could be effecting the numbers). Light is still in new condition and works flawlessly. BTW I am very very very picky when it comes to perfect hotspot corona spill symmetry. Whats not perfect to me is probably perfect to you. The main reason i am selling it is to fund Vinhs MT90VN+

I payed $326.40 for everything you see with the discount. I will take $310(SOLD) shipped free FedEx overnight delivery with in the united states

What you get.

  • The FF5 light with battery carrier and lens cover
  • extra battery carrier
  • extra bulb
  • diffuser filter lens
  • case
