X3vn - X10vn Companion

Must Read & Agree Before Purchase: Click Here

- Current boost to 9.6A at Start Up
- 3300 LED lumen at Start Up with Kinoko IMR26650
- Tried a sample with Copper PCB but see did not see a noticeable difference with the eyes (2.5A is just not much to require copper)
- Using stock aluminum PCB to keep costs down due to this reason
- Low-High with last mode memory
- High = Direct Drive
- Light does get got but does take around 5 minutes to do so. Low is great for when the light gets too hot
- Low is abtou 100-150 Lumen
- Tested a couple samples for many long runs for heat and reliability - Got great results
- Not hot at all. 2.5A per LED doesn't generate a lot of heat.
- Great efficiency with the lower drive current + multi LED
- Does require extra low resistance cells such as Samsung 20R for max potential.
- Keeppower 3400mAh for example will draw around 5.2A for around 2200 LED Lumen.
- Dedome throws nicely with a nice focused hot spot
- Dome yield the most lumen for a more floody beam
- Free 18650 Sleeve

Options:
A) Dome 6500K $130
B) Dedome 6500K $140
C) Dome 4500-5000K $145
D) Dedome 4500-5000K $150

Special Request Single Mode Direct Drive of any LED options above is also available

+$5 for "V54" hand engraved body
+$15 if you are outside of USA
+$30 to Option B) for XML2 PDTn, PDTw or U3 PDTc

Vinh, at what amp are you getting that output? It has to be around 4.2 with that output, I hope you find a nice way to squeeze out a couple of more hundred lumens.

6.5A so each led gets around 2.2A

I tried copper instead of the original aluminum pub but notice in Lumen increase as the current is only around 2.2 for each LED

Dedome throws really well too!

I am ordering 5700 xml2 to see if I can get a even better tint. 2600 Lumen out of something this small is so impressive. :)

5000 is too green/yellow with this driver?
How is the throw compared to X10vn, same spill angle, hotspot configuration and so on?

This is great! And I was planning on buying this light and sending it over to you to mod. Can't wait to see the beamshots!

5000 dedome is a bit too warm for some. The performance is nothing like a X10vn.

Is it like the X3vn is to the X10vn, the the way the X40vn is to the K40vn?

No. X40vn and K40vn are completely different light. Different host and difference performance and different U I.

X10vn = 1 XML2 at 6.5A for 1800 Lumen
X3vn= 3 XML2 at 6.5A 2600 Lumen

The host is exactly the same for both. Both host look like the maelstrom X10vn AKA MMU-X

Gotcha, but I just meant in terms of one was optimized for throw/cd and the other for more flood/L

Re: WTS: X3vn - X10vn Companion 2600 Lumen

I see what you did there.
Hehe.

I'll be curious to see how this compares to the SC6330vn, being they're about the same size and both using 3xXM-L2s. Both have a great build quality, but the Zebralight has a better UI and ~900 more lumens. On the flip side this should be about $100 less.
As small as these lights are, you could easily have both of them on your belt or person and be carrying an incredible amount of lumens with throw or flood anytime you want it. Really a great combo you are putting together Vinh.

Both will be optimized for throw.

One is more like a dedicated thrower and the other more of a general purpose thrower.
