Sitting here, having some soda out of my 24 oz. Pilsner glass.
Thing is, it's my back-up Pilsner. My main one shattered a couple of days ago. More years than I can remember, my previous one shattered too. Both times, I dug this Pilsner glass out of an overhead kitchen cabinet and used it for awhile. Until I could replace the main one, again.
Why not just use the back-up one as my main? Bottom of the glass isn't completely flat. It will sit flat on a table. But it is ever so wobbly. Something that becomes clear whenever I fill it with soda (not much of a beer drinker at all, if I'm being honest).
So, what is an odd or weird back-up item you have waiting in the wings; just in case.
