Turns out that the ZebraLight H30 with it's pocket clip sleeve makes for a decent little clip on video light. Check it out. :)

Sweet! Great idea. I also loled at the fuzzy thing on what I assume is the microphone. I've never seen one that furry.

Yeah, it's quite a furry windscreen.

I'm thinking of sewing some little ears, eyes, and a nose on it. :D

Great idea! How does it do for color rendering?

Cooler, so it meters more like high noon sunlight. I find switching to "Shade" WB looks the best, or taking the time to do Evaluative WB if I really need it to be absolutely neutral.

Since the lens on the HF100 isn't particularly very wide angle, I don't see any vignetting in the light at the corners, the H30's pure flood beam covers the whole frame.

Hi Wade
Like the furry cat:)
I though you were joking when you said you used the light for camerawork.
Does it make that much of a difference -or does it help to more easily focus the cam?

Cheers
Dom

Great idea, a H50 is on my list, but now it has climbed up to top in priority. I would probably do manual white-balance with a grey card. I hate removing colour cast post-shoot.
