The 5thColumn zetex website has disappeared!. Some one got a copy of it? Now I will have to search/browse through a million post and put them together.

Snuffy, I am aftering the Zetex Minimag AA conversion website by a CPF member called Mercator. Not the Zetex Company website. I guess he's not around anymore.
Anyway thanks snuff, the webarchieve works but there's no images.

Hello folks,
I'm waiting for a response from Rich to see if he
might want to post the pages (that were the "ZLT")
on another site such as OddOne's site.
I sent the email off this morning, but he has been
a little busy lately with things so all i can
do now is wait and see what he says about it.
I'm sure he will want to go with it, or else perhaps
i'll post the stuff on my own site.
I'll let CP folks know with a post to this Electronics Forum
as soon as i know something.
Sorry i cant do more at the moment unless you have a
specific question about the circuit that i can answer.

I think i've made this offer before, but I would be happy to host any such info on my site as well. I have lots of space and bandwidth that I would be happy to donate to this worthy cause.
If anyone can locate source, or even just notes and circuit diagrams I will rebuild and host it.

It's a great circuit.
I just sent another email off this morning, so im sure
we could have this resolved within another day or so.
Shouldnt take long now.

Hello Everyone......
Sorry about having to un-plug the Zetex site.
I needed the web server space for afew other projects and didn't want to get dinged for excessive transfer trafic.
I very surprised and pleased that there has been and still
seems to be one heck of a lot of desire for the site. Even considering that it hasn't been updated in a year or so.
I've been corresponding with MrAl for some time now and he just let me know about this topic "Zetex website no more"
generating much interest.
1) I sure would like someone to take over hosting the pages.
The only thing I think that needs to be done is this.....
Make sire that everyone who originally contributed to the pages gets their due credits.
2) Promise that there will never be any atempt to profit from the information contained on the site.
3) Copy all the pages (information and images) in their entirty.
4) Make every effort to update the information, Not only to bring the circuit up-to-date, but also keep up-dating the information as the need arises.
I think it would be best if there was just _ONE_ (1) main site that hosted the pages. This would insure that the information was kept current.
Now the only thing that needs to be worked out is how to best hand over the keys.
You can write to me regarding your sincere interests by obtaining my address from my CP profile.

Hey Mercator, I'd be happy to host it and leave all the credits as they are. (I can grab the entire page text, imagery, links, all of it and transfer it verbatim.)
In fact, I can also set you up with author access on OWLI so that you can tweak anything you see that needs tweaking. (Site's all database driven so edits can be done from the web.)

or else just go to archive.org and type in the complete url, it worked for me with images and all. I only was interested in the details like values and board layout, so i didn't need to save it. (schematic is same as zetex's ref. design in the sc300 pdf.) If you do save from archive.org, be sure to delete the jabascript they insert at the end of the html, that should make the images appear correctly. I'm mixed about web content authorship, though i'm sure Mercator is cool with saving the whole page to pdf or doc. It's crazy that archive.org who saves other peoples work tries to copyright their archive copy!
