Zoom LED Flashlight

Hi all,
Are there any zoom flashlights available that do not have the characteristic square 'chip' shape at full zoom?
I would prefer to have just a round spot and it's not easy to see this from the adverts for the lights.

The only ways to get a round beam at full zoom would be to have a round LED emitter surface or not really zoom all the way.

I agree with the above statement, and I have also had some experience with flashlights that would zoom "past" the perfect focal point, and thus provide a more "round" beam.

By the way: what's not to like about the chip shape? Just because Edison's early incandescent bulbs used bamboo filaments, doesn't mean that that is the "standard."

Edit: Perhaps you might talk to CREE. If they wanted to, they could probably make LED chips that look like Micky Mouse! (Might be a "best seller"!)

The LED Lenser line of lights has the best optics in my opinion and don't exhibit any of the square shape from the LED. They have many models available with their advanced focus system.
