Last night my HDD died for ~4 attempts at booting with a boot disc error screen. (I ain't long for this world!) Before I went to bed, it lit ok. Same for this morning and I backed-up the stuff I could on the non-SCSI HDD. I built this thing 3-4 years ago:

8KHA+, XP 1900+ (Still locked)@144, water cooled, 3X 256 Crucial PC 2100, Enermax 465-VE(FC) w/5V mod
Asus V8200 T5 Deluxe w/S-vid I/O's " @ case front
Creative Audigy mp3 w/mic & line in @ case front
Adaptec 29160-Seagate ST173404LW, Yamaha CRW2100SZ, Toshiba SD-M1401
Adaptec Duo Connect w/internal 1394 & USB2 @ case front
Zoom PCI cable modem
Western Digital WD100, Orb 5.7GB, Zip 250, Teac FDD
All hammered into a Lian Li PC-30 w/73 thumbscrews

Larry (And damn, I wish I knew somebody local who is goood with these things. Hardware is easy for me- software, operation, registry, saving programs and stuff, and I'm in trouble! The time is getting too near. :( )

Also have a 9" Sony Trin TV and a GE shortwave radio on the desk. As far as what's on the shelves, let's just say it's about half my collection. The really neat stuff is in another room.

Well, I'm not going to even think about posting mine. It's just looks too sad. A simple little tower with a little athlon 1200 (running at 1150). The 2 main 4 gig scsi disk drives were state of the art when installed 8 years ago. The newer 30 gig scsi died on me last month. The 60 gig secondary IDE drives were also great when installed.

I use a DVD or 4mm tape for backing things up.

The sad part? It does everything I want it to. I have a seperate machine for playing microsoft games.
