Dorcy Metal Gear in Canada?

Anyone know where to get these lights up here?

Does Canadian Tire carry them? I am certain Wal-Mart doesn't have them, unless they are in an area other than the typical flashlight section.

Thanks,
Greg

I bought mine in a California Wal-Mart in the regular ol' flashlight section for $19.95.

If it's not available to you, email me off line and we'll see what we can do about shipping you one.

Check Future Shop. A few months ago, I've noticed that they carry a small selection of Dorcy LED flashlights, including the critically-acclaimed Super 1 Watt. However, I cannot recall if I saw a Metal Gear there.

It couldn't hurt to check Home Hardware as well.

If it is here it would be under a different name, I havn't seen one yet so I often wonder if it isn't part of that new series Home Hardware is carrying under the name "Reactor".
Sorry Greg, but I don't think it exists as "Metal Gear" in any of our stores.

I have a couple of them. I could put a guaranteed R-bin in and ship it to you for USD $22 plus actual shipping. Of course if you buy one off the shelf, you may get an R-bin or a Q-bin.

A very fair offer.. :)

The Reactor is also a 3AAA luxeon light, it doesn't have the aggressive look of the metal gear though, a smooth polished finish. I will have to go get one and see for myself..

I'm in S.Ont. and I'm going to check out Future Shop today, I'll let you know what I find.

Did pick up one of the Reactor 1W Lux LED from HH the other day (single CR123A Energizer Lithium included) for $24.99 and it's a nice little light. Compareable to the Fenix L1P except it runs off the CR123A not the AA, but cost wise I run my L1P off an Energizer Lithium AA and the CR123A is less expensive. Not as sleek as the Fenix, but smooth silver polish finish. We'll see how long it holds up.

EDIT
Sorry didn't get to Future Shop today, will try again tomorrow.
EDIT END

2nd EDIT
Made it into Future Shop today and they don't have them, I asked one of the sales clerks and he said they don't have any flashlights, which I found hard to believe because there was a sign advertizing "Premium LED Flashlights" but after walking the aisles for about 20 min I couldn't find any (I checked for myself just in case the sales guy was just blowing me off)

Try Best Buy, rather than Future Shop. I have seen Dorcy 1Watt lights there, but I don't recall what the selection was. Definitely recall the 2AA 1W version, and I think a 3AAA version, not sure what else. This was in Toronto.

Is it this light http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/dorcy_super1w.htm ?

At BestBuy I find the flashlights around the cashier area and at FutureShop they may be off on a side shelve collecting dust.

At CanadianTire this spotlight may be a Dorcy (reg $29.99cdn was at $9.99 at end of Nov) instructions are in engrish.
