What does EDC mean? Is there like glossary of flashlight terms?

I wondered the same thing for weeks. My first guess was "Emergency Daily Carry", close but no cigar

Welcome to CPF! Don't worry, we wouldn't trash you... we're a friendly community here, except to trolls, but that's a different story. "EDC" is used elsewhere too, such as Equipped to Survive and BladeForums.

too late, I already bought an L4, L2 , and KL1. Also a bunch of other "retail" flashlights. Just since I've been lurking around.
