I've read about people fixing the clickies on their U2s. Can anyone tell me if thats possible on the newest U2s with the four tabs? Mine won't lock on but will do momentary. I ordered a replacement from SF but who knows how long that will take or how long it will last. Thanks.

Okay, I'll try it but how did you open the tailcap. In the photos it looks like you removed the end of the cap above the cheesie SF web address. Did it unscrew or was it attached in another way?

This thread also worked for my stuck E2d tailcap. Got tired of waiting for the replacement from SF, so I fixed it myself. Works great ever since.

CPF has great people with excellent tips and advice.Enjoy!!!

Unscrew it, its threaded. There may be a problem though, some are glued in place. Only one way to find out, try to unscrew it.
