Homemade pocket light

Im new to this but ill try. I made a small pocket light with some aluminum tube leftover brass and nichia CS. I made a small boost circuit to fit in the cap with the led.an O-ring seal knurled it and it works awsome. anyway i was proud of it ill try to get some pics.

You turn the head in to turn it on. the o-ring seals the head and adds resistance.I think its like an arc aaa light but ive never seen one.

That is a neat project. Did you design the boost circuit, or are there schematics/plans available online?

I used the zetex zxsc300 max bright circuit got the parts from mouser thay are very small but it went together good heres a link to zetex pdf with diagram

Thanks guys for your interest its fun to do. There are 5 parts in the cercuit.I have a small lathe about 6 hours later it worked and is very bright solid and a handy little size. I have made a few other lights ill post them later you have a good day.
