I was browsing SKYFM, after running across someone palying the SkyFM SmoothJazz stream in There the other day, and found mention of Screamer Radio in the SKYFM forums.

Pretty slick little app. Many presets covering many genres. Freeware.
The AAC format streams, as streamed from SKYFM, sound better to me than the WMP stream. And don't cut in/out like the mp3 128k stream.

After adding a Favorite, you have to use Edit Fav command on the file menu to enter the name of the fav manually in the .xlm file. Then reload favs on the File menu.

I'm almost reluctant to share this since I'm afraid they will become too popular and start charging, but who better to tell than my CPF friends :D.

I've just discovered pandora.com and it is sweet (sorry if you already know about it, it's new to me). All you do is go to the site and enter an artist or song and they will stream a custom playlist of analyzed songs that are stylistically similar to what you chose. You can approve or dissaprove of the songs as you listen to them and the list will get even more specific. Its like having a custom dj and its completely FREE. A very cool idea- I'm addicted.

I like it, thanks. I wish there was a "last played" button to jump back without having to run through a few menus to get there. Shoutcast, is that the one played trough Winamp?

Edit: Love the "Lounge" station on the "Digitally Imported" network!
