there are a bunch of folks using that ISP on a mailing list that I post to often. I'd say that at least once a week, sometimes more I get bounce messages from one of their servers or another. I think they are down much more often than they should be. I guess just having run my own email servers and been in charge of keeping the dumb things running I have little patience for companies that charge for the service and can't keep it running

I only use Wanadoo for receiving e-mails.
I have had that address since it used to be freeserve and it`s like a telephone number, I just dont want to change it.
I have changed my ISP provided a number of times, but i still keep the same e-mail address.
