Sylvania DOT-its at Autozone for $5.

I remember seeing these a while back being reviewed on CPF. And that they were hard to find. Well, I was in my neighborhood Autozone auto parts store for some oil when I spotted them being clearanced at $5 ea. instead of their normal price of $19.98!
I picked up 2 for the heck of it. Aluminum body, decently bright, and includes 3 AA's. Now I just need to figure out where to use them.
Hmmm, I wonder if I can swap in 3 of those $1.25 Lux-1 emitters from Tek-tite.com?


There were also Energizer 'Switch-It' 2D/2C/2AA plastic flashlights, an Energizer 4AA sliding body flashlight-to-lantern model, and cigarette lighter plug powered magnetic 12V worklights, for $5 also.

Those Energizer Quick Switch lights are bargins at $5, and a great host for the PR SMJLED. I hope no one's sick of hearing that.... but man does it look good it there.

Hmmm, might have to go back a get me one of those QuickSwitch lights then.
I will be getting a bunch of those PR's from lambda.
It must be that faceted reflector.
