Favorite flashlight stories

I've been poking around the surefire website, reading the stories they have compiled there from surefire owners. . . several I recognized as being CPF-er's!

Has a flashlight ever saved your life or someone elses? Ever REALLY feel thankful that you EDC'd one?

also, has anyone ever submitted a story to surefire and not had it published?

Just curious...

There was this one night when the sun went down and it became very dark out. I went and got my trusty light and bam, I could see again.:lolsign:

You should check out carrot's collection of flashlight stories. I'm sure there are plenty about SureFires.

Just ten minutes ago...
My father came into the house saying "We need lots of light, right now!"
I replied "For what?"
Father: "Neighbor lost his keys halfway down the block."
Me: "Grab those." -- indicating the 2 million cp flood and 1 million cp flood charging)
-I grabbed a Princeton Tec Surge and a SF L4.
Father found the neighbor's keys less than six feet from the truck. (He beat me to the scene.)
Walking home, another neighbor stepped out onto his front porch... "Whatcha lookin' for?"
Reply: Looking for car keys. Found them, thanks.
Happy ending.
