The Flashcap was designed originally for the South African Police Services (SAPS).
They are issued with 3D Maglites and requested a robust LED attachment to assist in roadblocks.

Now that local demand has been satisfied, the product is slowly being made available to the world market.

The Flashcap can be set to constant on or flashing. It replaces the tailcap of the Mag It runs off it's own batteries so can be used standalone with or without the magnetic base accessory which will be available soon.

It is built using machined alumnium and the same resin as used in the Glo-Toobs.

The reason why it is not on the Glo-Toob site is that it is not a Glo-Toob product.
The folks at Glo-Toob are partners in the project and contributed their knowledge in resins and electronics.

That's all for now.

It uses 4 x CR2032 batteries, which is, um, interesting. As they run at 3v it would be helpful if I could find a rechargeable battery that also runs at 3v that is the the size of these 4 batteries, such as 20mm diameter and 12.8mm long, with variances +/- 2mm.

But then again, they are also difficult to get hold of in this country, the UK :(
