I'm looking for a higher-output replacement bulb for the Magcharger light. Does anyone know the bulb size in the Magcharger. I have the light, as well as the updated lamp, but I can't find the standardized number for the lamp (i.e. t-4, t-3, etc).

Any hints??

Thanks!!

I believe that's the Mag #. I think dano is looking for the generic # so he can get something somewhere else. TX

Dano:

I am quite happy with the Welch Allyn #01111 T-2/14 bulb rated at 6.0 V 3.35 A 20.10 Watts 465 Lumens 100 hour bulb life in my Mag Charger. It runs whiter and brighter than the SL-35X LA. Voltage drop is below 6.0 V, however, so the output is less.

The W/A bulbs have a slightly higher filament height than the M/C bulb which results in an inability to acheive as tight a focus with the W/A as with the OEM Mag .

I intend to try a W/A #01160 bulb rated at 5.00 V 3.45 A 17.25 Watts 327 Lumen 550 hours bulb in the M/C. At 5.5 V, for example, this bulb would "rerate" at 3.64 A, 456 Lumen, and a very healthy 175 hours.
