I bought one of the new MagLeds and was hoping to change the stock (plastic) lens. What glass lens should I use? I was thinking either a UCL or a Borofloat.

adi, read the thread Tinder linked - I just learned a bunch. It has good info that'll help you decide.

I got some lenses for my Nuwais and Raws. They seem quite thick (1.5 - 2mm perhaps) and good quality. Only thing to watch out for is that, though they are fine once in the light, the edge is a bit, ummmm, brittle I guess is the only way to put it. When I was fitting one into a raw it caught the aluminium thread and flakes of glass splintered off the surface from the edge in a semicircle shape. Bit like when you get a chip in your car windscreen.

I read most of that thread but it really didn't answer my question.

Anyone that has a MagLed change the lens, or are most people leaving the stock lens in?
