Does anyone know if you can Polish an Orb Raw Ns? I was wondering if a dremel or a benchgrinder with a polishing wheel would take kindly to putting a mirror finish on an Ns. Has anyone done this? I've seen some pics of a Ti with a mirror like finish to it. I suppose working around the tritium would be a little difficult but other than that i see no problems other than the obvious part of not touching the threads to maintain as much precision and weather resistence as possible. Might just try it if no one else has.

I have seen pics of a polished Ns. I'm too lazy to find it though :)

It was a mirror finish and looked quite nice. Nickel silver has been used as a substitute for silver for a long time because it resembles silver when it's polished. Keep in mind that it will quickly regain that matte oxidation look with use though.

Nickel silver is commonly used for bolsters and liners in knifemaking. It polishes very easily and with great results. It is not a problem to polish it. I often use Brasso on Nickel Silver.
