Brighter With X1 Focus

Thank you for the info, WNG & carrot for the link. If the RR 2AA (with optic) is more or equally focused as an X1, and has additional intensity, it should fill the bill.

I'll have to keep crusin' Targette. The store I frequent hasn't had a decent sale on lights for half a year...which I foolishly passed up :(

Any of the larger 123A Inova lights with an optic will throw a beam similar to the X1, but slightly larger in diameter, and much brighter.

I'm looking for a tiny hot spot with no spill. I'm still trying to find a good excuse to buy the T3 - I really like the appearance of that Inova. I suspect the hot spot is larger than I want for this particular use.

If any of you are familiar with an E1L or E2L & the T3's beam, how do they compare? Thanks for any additional insight on this subject.

I don't own the KL1 or the T3, but from what I've gathered by reading descriptions and looking at beamshots, these two lights produce a very similar beam.
