webcam

I'm looking for a pair of webcams that can be used in a rare situation where people might be several feet from the cameras.
I've found a lot of cheap ones on ebay but shipping is more than the camera and that always makes me suspicious.

Anybody with any experience or reccomendations on using these?

That's just a scam to rip off ebay. Ebay bases it's fee as a percentage of the final selling price of the item sold. So what some do, is sell their stuff or a very low price, but make that up in the shipping charges. You get your whatever, they get their money, and ebay gets a bit of the shaft. It's not as bad as it used to be, 5 dollar item, fifty dollar shipping, but it still happens a lot.
