I want to buy a KL1 with a Vital Gear FB3 and I want to know if it is possible to run the light with three RCR123 batteries (3,7-4,2 each). Will the chip handle the high voltage? Will this use damage the light (perhaps over a long time, or at once
) ? I would prefer the FB3 because of the "backup-AA-use" and the KL1 seems to me like a longthrow LED module (I like that
).
