hi chaps.

first post on here so please bare with me.
i have just ordered a luxeon k2 torch off ebay.
it states that it can use cr123 3 volts of 3.7 volts. is this right?
i dont want to put in 3.7 volt batteries and blow the led.
im pretty new to flash light stuff so if this is a thicko post, sorry

regards axbol......

oh by the way the torch uses two batteries, so to me there is a fair
difference from 6 volts (2X3volt) to 7.4 volts (2X3.7)

axbol, I have no experiences with this light. I did a search and found this description:

"
Made by High Quality CNC aluminum with Mil-Spec HAIII finish

Luxeon K2 Bulb for powerful output

100% Brand New

Durable aluminum reflector

On/Off button at bottom cap

Size: Length 13cm, Diameter 3.5cm

Use 2 x 3.0v/3.7v CR123A batteries (not included)

Holster and Handstrap included

Optional item: (Combine Shipment Only)

+GBP0.50 for 2 x Single use 3.0v CR123A batteries

+GBP8.25 for 2 x Rechargeable 3.7v CR123A Batteries + 1 Charger (for Home or Car use, World voltage, UK Plug installed)

"

So accordingly, you can use 2x RCR123 cells.

Best regards
