Anyone making a lamp that will fit a Surefire 6P that has a Cree LED? Hoping for something brighter but not necessarily with longer runtime.

Most of the time you have to either send it to someone willing to do it or order the parts yourself.

check with Milkyspit. If anybody can do it, he can. He just modded my HDS with a Cree.

A kl3 modded with a cree would work.
The 6P is a pretty briight flashlight especially if you use a p61 Globe. Asking for more from an emitter is asking a lot, still.
G&P I beleive came up with a LUX V conversion, maybe the same thing can be done with a Cree. You would have to regulate it.
Get some grees and a few drivers and shuve them into a KL3 head and have fum playing. I am sure sombody has done it by now.
