Noobie question

Hey guys, I was wondering if the 3w led upgrade I bought for my 2D Maglite will work fine with the 3D Maglite? In other words, it can handle the 3d juice, right? My question may sound dumb but please bear with me as I am new to this Flashoholic stuff. :grin2:

I believe I tried this and noticed no difference (between this and the 3 cell module in the 3Dmag). If you see the tint begin to shift to an angry blue.. turn it off and don't put in in the three cell.

Just to be clear, which brand of upgrade were you thinking about?

Mag LED 3watt 2cell upgrade. No :poof:

when used on three cells. No noticeable brightness increase. Probably not the best thing to use on brand new fresh cells. Watch for that angry blue tint shift. If you turn it off in time, you won't damage anything and you learn something.

Use one dummy cell in your 3D, that's the only solution I can recommend.
