Is it possible to use a 18650 battery in a Pelican M6 2390 ? And can I unsrew the bezel for LED replacement ?
Is it possible to us a SSC P4 or a Cree to drop in the Peli M6 2390?
18650 cells dont fit.
Bezel can be unscrewed, the led sits inside a lamp-assembly - which is interchangeable with the incan LA.
The surefire C-series lamp assemblies will not fit a pelican.
You can ream out the body and get an 18mm cell to fit (I've done it). You can mod any Luxeon I/III based torch to use the SSC-P4 and get about twice the output.
