Can someone please direct me to a thread where I can find out about this? I can find nothing and/or the search is not working properly right now.
Was in Target today and saw an upgrade kit for the 2AA incan MiniMag light, which consisted of an IQ switch, a 1 watt Luxeon LED drop-in module, and redesigned reflector. Not interested in thh IQ switch, just the LED module. I have an old MiniMag with fiber optic headattachment which comes in very handy at times working on brake master cylinders and such. When focused ideally, it puts out just enough sickly, yellow light through the cable to get the job done. But I want a brighter, whiter light. I tried the 3 LED drop-in module, but because the 5mm LED output is so diffuse, the output through the fiber optic was less than stock. I am wondering if the 1 watt upgrade module/reflector puts out enough light to be an imp[rovement when used with the fiber optic attachment.
