Does my Arc SLS still have the flex problem?

I have a new Arc SLS which is I believe a repaired flex problem. A little HA scraped off the head but a nice beam. Tonight I discovered that if I tightened down the 123 battery pack, initially it would light up but upon tightening it further, the light would then go out. Discovered this by accident, don't think I reemed it too hard. Tried it on two different batteries with the same symptoms. Now it's not doing it anymore at the present but it has me worried. Is this a symptom of the flex problem or something else? What exactly is/was the flex problem?

Yes, that is the flex problem and we can replace it.

If this came from recent stock, your's would be the first reported from the redesigned rev1 batch. Now we will have to see if any of the rev1/rev2 hybrids ever exhibit this problem as well.
