Got some lights from Batterie-Junction today.
X1 Gen 2: 270 mA, a bit more bright than the Fenix E1 ---> ok
X1 Gen 3: 780 mA, green tint, a bit more bright than the Gen 2 ---> not ok
I decided to swap the emitter.
How to...:
1. open the light carefully (the ice method is far to long)
2. remove the electronic stuff to make some room
3. put the parts together
4. install the emitter (no arctic silver required)
5. add a glow stick
6. ready for test
Results:
Output: 1 cd
Runtime: 15 min on high with the standard emitter
Beam: all flood
Tint: nice
No Beamshots (sorry).
Some pics:
On the left: Turbo head
On the right: Red emitter (saves your night vision)
