It takes teamwork to get there and thanks to the forum team on "expert" advice.

It looks like HDS is the way to go (no disrespect to Lupine in Germany) assuming they can provide in the next few months and then an ARC light on a jackstrap for day-to-day use. I wouldn't have even found them without this forum (which I've been passively reading now for about 4 months).

FYI - the trip is two months, with 6 solid weeks at or above basecamp which is at 18000' so a lot of time to check use this stuff (no electricity, etc.). I'll be sure to post back in June.

So, are you guys (and gals) proceeding from the Khumbu Icefall to the western CWM or is it a different approach?

I tried going to the Nepal basecamp this year, but helas...
