NIMH C? Tenergy?

What are some good C-sized NIMH cells?

Saw a few on thomas-distributing but seems kind of pricy @ 8 each. What about Tenergy?

I got couple dozen of dead Tenergy @ my house but can't really complain cause I bought them for the $$$.

You pretty much get what you pay for.

I've been using AmondoTech's "Titanium 5000" C-cells for at least year to power the CD player we have in the shower. They seem to be holding up well. We use the player a lot and I charge the batts every 6-8 weeks or so, whether they need it or not. I.e, they seem to hold a charge pretty well. They're selling for $4.20 currently.

I too have been using the Titanium 5000's with acceptable results. I just got 4 Tenergy C's and so far I'm happy with what I'm seeing. Capacity has been about 80% at the first cycle (i.e. first charge in my Ansmann 16 and a full 1C discharge). Second charge and discharge cycle for 2 have showed 82-85% rated capacity. If I hit 90% doing a full C discharge I'll be tickled pink and will definitely order more.
