ROP issues...

I have all the parts for a 2d ROP coming and have decided I also want to build a longer running 4D ROP.

I'll be using 6 elite 4500mah sub c cells soldered and wrapped in a stick for power...

my question is how do it chage it then? There will be no connector like on RC batt packs, and the clips from most smart chagers have nothing to clip too.

I know there is a way...I just dont know what it is.

You either need magnets of a big clamp tp hold the wires to the pack - a few searches should turn some ideas up.

I've used a large rubberband to hold the charging leads in place for my generic MagCharger battery stick.

I use a pair of disk shaped magnets with a nickel finish. Don't use the cheap Ratshack magnets with a black finish - they are not as conductive. I think mine are something like 10-12mm diameter and 5mm thick.

I built a light just like that - heavy but packs a lot of power. Enjoy your one hour ROP!

Battery pack charging magnets , sold by Alin10123, in one of the sell threads here. Do a search for those 4 words. They are a magnet with a lead that you attach the alligator clips to from your charger.
