I have acquired one of the new ROV Cree lights and was wondering:
1. Does anyone have a guess as to what bin emitter this is using?
2. Assuming it is an older Cree can I just swap it for the Q5 to increase the output?

you would swap it out for mabey a 20% increase, when that would look to the eyes to be about 1/20th brighter?

you see i am wondering that also, the mighty Q5, is like going up just one bin, and we know that bins vary too, so if i have great p4 running now, do i change it for something i can barely see?

OR were you talking about changing the drive current on it to and mabey getting 50%?

i wonder what kinda increase you could get if you JUST reflected any "lost light" that goes into black tubes and dark star items, of course it would be "lumens" out the front increase, because it would not get culminated the same. i always try and find the places light dissapears for no reason, and recover it, plus that doesnt cost me anything.

its no "Q",
I got some Q2 some time ago and have four bond wires.

Emitter swap should not be difficult --> old star out, new Star in
