Hi there, Nice Mag, btw is the reflector focusable or is it a fixed focus?
And the battery pack is NimH?
Also can the light be used without the pack?

It is a camless reflector with a KIU socket.... however it is focusable by turning either left or right on the head.

Yes it is a NimH battery pack. Just like all Mag85's you can use a battery pack or a battery holder. Whatever your preference is. This just happens to have a battery pack.

If you are thinking of making your own, better forget it,it will cost you almost double. Buy this one it is in a very good price.

Well I know it is not $10-15... it cost that much for me to send domestic... I will check now....

Edit.... According to USPS.com it will cost $32 to ship to you... that was my gut feeling...let me know what you want to do...
