Beam shots with shadows, something different

While out back playing with some lights I saw some interesting shadows and it gave me the idea to take beam shots with/of shadows. These first four are "test" shots. I'll have to look for more creative things to take shadow shots of.

This is a pic of a couple of old patio chairs. My theory is, the brighter the light the darker the shadow.

So what does everyone think? Are shadow shots worth getting creative with?

I suggest you to post some other beamshots with shadows and the let us guess what produce shadows...:grin2:
